The Shepherdsville Police Department ATV Patrol program was established in 2008. The ATV's have become a valuable tool in patrolling areas not easilty accessible to traditional patrol vehicles, such as city parks and trails. This Unit also provides service at special events and various community programs. The Unit currently consists of two fully equipped Polaris all-terrain vehicles. Officers serving on the ATV Unit have received advanced training in the use and safe operation of the vehicles. |
