Q: What are the hours for the Shepherdsville Police Department?
A: The front desk receptionist is available Monday - Friday 08:00 a.m. - 08:00 p.m.  Closed Saturday and Sunday.

The Shepherdsville Police Department provides policing services to the community 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.


Q: How can I obtain an accident report?
A: An accident report may be obtained by visiting the front desk of the SPD located in the Shepherdsville Government Center or by mailing in the request including a self addressed stamped envelope.  There is a $2.00 charge per report.



Q: How can I obtain a background check?
A: Download, complete, and submit the appropriate form available from the Administrative Office of the Courts; available here or by visiting www.kycourts.net.



Q: How can I obtain my evidence?
A: Varies.  Defendants, suspects, and victims are handled differently; this may require a court order or final disposition of a case.



Q: How can I provide a tip or report a crime anonymously?
A: Anonymous tips may be submitted by calling the SPD Anonymous Tip line at (502) 215-1588.  More information can be found here.  KYANA Crime Stoppers will also forward information, just call (502) 582-CLUE (2583).
